Areas of use
Permits are only valid in three hour parking areas of residential streets.
Permits are NOT valid:
- Where signs are posted with other conditions while those conditions are in effect - outside of those condition hours, the space reverts to a three hour limit and a permit can be used.
- In downtown paid parking spaces
- In No Parking areas
- In off-street parking such as parking garages or parking lots (including the waterfront paid parking lots)
Parking exemptions
Permits exempt vehicles from the following regulations:
- Three hour time limit
- No Parking from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. December 1 through April 1
All other parking regulations apply.
Vehicles cannot be parked at any time, in a way that may interfere with snow clearing activities. Interfering means causing a plow or salter truck to veer off path and go around a vehicle or preventing a plow or truck from entering an area or street.
