The City of Oshawa is preparing detailed designs to pave and extend the existing granular Oshawa Creek Recreation Trail from Conlin Road E. north to Britannia Ave. E. and Britannia Ave. E. north to Windfields Farm Dr. E.

Community members are invited to submit feedback to Service Oshawa. Feedback will be received until 4 p.m. on Thursday April 23, 2026, and will be considered as part of the design.

Take Notice that the Council of The Corporation of The City of Oshawa passed By-law Number 18-2026 on March 23, 2026, under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.

The purpose of By-law 18-2026 (File: Z-2020-05) is to change the zoning for the lands located at 671, 685, 699, 709 and 723 Conlin Road East.

IN THE MATTER OF AN APPLICATION BY The Corporation of the City of Oshawa for approval to expropriate land being Parts 1 and 2, 40R-33008, PT Lot 4, Concession 5, City of Oshawa, Regional Municipality of Durham known municipally as a portion of 1120 Conlin Road East, for the municipal purpose of facilitating the reconstruction and widening of Conlin Road East between Simcoe Street North and Townline Road North in the City of Oshawa together with utility and ancillary works associated thereto.

In accordance with By-law 181-2022, shopping carts found on City property and removed by the City are subject to a retrieval and storage fee. Carts not claimed will be disposed of the week following April 1, July 1, Oct 1, and Jan 1.
