Complete Application - Conlin Rd. E. and Riverton St.

Applications

To amend Zoning By-law 60-94 (File: Z-2026-06) and to amend an approved Draft Plan of Subdivision (File: 18T-94025) submitted by D.G. Biddle and Associates Limited on behalf of Greycrest Homes (Oshawa) Inc. for lands at Conlin Rd. E. and Riverton St.

The Oshawa Economic and Development Services Committee will be considering the above referenced applications for the lands as shown shaded on the map below at a future Planning Act public meeting. The applications have been determined to be complete.

Proposal

The applicant proposes to develop Phases 10 and 11 of approved draft pan of subdivision 18T-94025 with 5 single detached dwellings and 94 semi-detached dwellings, whereas previous approvals permit the Subject Site to be developed with 93 single detached dwellings.

To make the proposed development possible the following amendments are being sought:

Draft Plan of Subdivision –

Implement revisions to Phases 10 and 11 of approved draft plan of subdivision 18T-94025 to permit 5 single detached dwellings and 94 semi-detached dwellings, instead of the originally draft approved 93 single detached dwellings; and,

Zoning By-law 60-94 Amendment –

To rezone the lands from R1-E.Y4.5 “h-14” (Residential) to an appropriate site-specific R2 (Residential) Zone to permit single detached dwellings and semi-detached dwellings with site specific conditions to permit certain performance standards such as reduced front and rear yard depths and increased lot coverage.
