What: Conlin Road East Road Reconstruction & Widening and Grandview Street North Roundabout Construction 

Details: Reconstruction and widening of Conlin Road East from east of Harmony Road North to Kurelo Drive as well as the construction of a new roundabout at Grandview Street North and Conlin Road East.

Construction August 2025 to November 2026

The Work involves the reconstruction and widening of Conlin Rd. E. from east of Harmony Rd. N. to Kurelo Dr. as well as the construction of a new roundabout at Grandview St. N. and Conlin Rd E. The work will also include a new storm sewer along Conlin Rd E., a new multi-use pathway on the south side of Conlin Rd. E. from Coppermine St. to Kurelo Dr., a new sidewalk on the north side of Conlin Rd E. from Harmony Rd. N. to west of Kurelo Dr. There will also be work on Regional infrastructure including new watermain near Harmony Rd N., Coppermine St. and Cayenne St. and new sanitary sewer at Coppermine St.

Revised Work Schedule

The City’s contractor, Graham Bros., mobilized and has been working since August. The project will take place over two years and is planned to be completed in November 2026. The Grandview St. N. roundabout construction began in August 2025 and was planned to be completed in December 2025, but due to the significant winter weather the work will not be able to be completed this year as planned. The roundabout will now be completed in the summer of 2026 and Conlin Rd. E. including the Grandview St. N. intersection will remain closed through the winter.  The work on Conlin Rd. E. between Harmony Rd. and Grandview St. is still planned for completion in 2026.  

How will this work affect you?

Full road closures will be in effect during construction.

• Current Closure - The intersection of Grandview St. N. and Conlin Rd E. will remain fully closed, and Conlin Rd. E. will be closed from Coppermine St. to Kurelo Dr. until work is completed in the summer of 2026. Residents living in the subdivision north of Conlin Rd. E. near Grandview St. N. should use Brittania Ave. to Harmony Rd. N. or Brittania Ave. to Coppermine St.. Please see the attached detour on the second page.
• Future Road Closures - During 2026 Conlin Rd. E. will be closed from Harmony Rd. N. to the west side of Grandview St. N. Further advance Public Notices will be provided to detail dates and closure limits.

Unfavourable weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances may impact the work schedule.
