Flags lowered to half-mast in recognition of the lives lost in Tumbler Ridge, BC tragedy

The City of Oshawa has lowered its flags to half-mast at City Hall and City facilities to honour the victims of the tragic events that took place in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia on Tuesday, February 10.

“On behalf of City Council and the City of Oshawa, we stand together with the family, friends and colleagues who are mourning the passing of loved ones following yesterday’s tragic events,” said Oshawa Mayor Dan Carter. “We share in your profound sorrow and our hearts and thoughts are with the entire Tumbler Ridge community during this incredibly difficult time.”
