Free activities and events during National Youth Week
National Youth Week is back! Oshawa youth ages 10 to 17 are invited to take part in a variety of free workshops, activities and drop-in programs happening across Oshawa the first week of May.
The Oshawa Youth Council (OYC), in collaboration with the City of Oshawa and community partner BGC Durham, play a key role in planning and delivering this exciting schedule of events celebrating youth in the community.
This year’s schedule includes:
- Friday, May 1 – Paint Night
5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Arts Resource Centre - Saturday, May 2 – Sports Night
6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Northview Community Centre - Sunday, May 3 – Yoga Class
3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Donevan Recreation Complex - Tuesday, May 5 – Youth Swim
7:45 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Delpark Homes Centre - Thursday, May 7 – Get On Board Night
5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
South Oshawa Community Centre

National Youth Week is an initiative supported by the Provincial Consortium of Youth in Recreation, aimed at celebrating youth involvement in the community.
