An Area Specific Transportation Master Plan around the future Central Oshawa GO station at 500 Howard Street and a Class Environmental Assessment Study for the First Ave./McNaughton Ave. corridor between Simcoe St. S. and Ritson Rd. S. are being completed – and we need your input!
The City of Oshawa invites community feedback on the recommended design for the reconstruction of the First Ave./McNaughton Ave. corridor between Simcoe St. S. and Ritson Rd. S. The study is being undertaken in accordance with the Schedule C Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (M.C.E.A) process.
The Study Area is centered on the proposed Central Oshawa GO Station site located at 500 Howard St., situated on the south side of the Canadian Pacific Kansas City rail corridor approximately midway between Simcoe St. S. and Ritson Rd. S.

- Review the materials on Connect Oshawa (ConnectOshawa.ca/MTSAStudy) or on paper at Service Oshawa, located at City Hall (50 Centre St. S.) and share your feedback by emailing Engineering@oshawa.ca.
- Attend the drop-in Public Open House on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Bobby Orr Room at the Civic Recreation Complex, 99 Thornton Rd. S. in Oshawa.
Feedback will be received until noon on Friday, March 20, 2026 and will be considered in a future staff report to be presented to the Economic and Development Services Committee.
