Ministry of Transportation Notice: Cubert St. full closure

The Ministry of Transportation (M.T.O.) is undergoing work to install a new watermain in preparation for the widening of Highway 401 in Oshawa.

As part of the construction operations, M.T.O. will be implementing a full closure of Cubert St. from Bloor St. W. (overpass) to College Ave.

When: October 1 to November 12, 2025.

Why: To accommodate watermain installation as part of the ongoing work to replace the Highway 401 overpasses in preparation to widen Highway 401.

Details:

During this period, both lanes of Cubert St. will be closed from Bloor St. (under the 401) to College Ave.

Appropriate signage will be installed ahead of the closure to inform the public of the date and times. All detour routes will be clearly marked with appropriate detour signs to guide traffic.
