Oshawa Executive Airport emergency exercise scheduled for October 27

Community members and airport users are advised that on the morning of Tuesday, October 27, the Oshawa Executive Airport will be conducting a simulated emergency exercise in accordance with Canadian Aviation Regulations.

Community members may notice an increased presence of fire and emergency response vehicles in the area of Keith Ross Dr. to the west, Taunton Rd. to the north, and Airport Blvd. to the east during the exercise time period.

Organizations participating in the exercise include airport staff, Oshawa Fire Services, Region of Durham Paramedic Services and Durham Regional Police Services.

Joint agency simulated emergency exercises help to reinforce emergency response procedures and allow emergency first responders to be ready to support the safety of the community and airport users. Your support for this and future events is appreciated and any questions can be directed to Oshawa 311.
