Portion of Joseph Kolodzie Oshawa Creek trail closed for repairs

When: March 20 to mid-April

Where: Joseph Kolodzie Oshawa Creek Trail from the Thomas Street Trail Head parking lot (200 Thomas St.) to Ritson Rd. S. trail connection.

Why: To accommodate urgent repairs to restore the creek bank adjacent to the Joseph Kolodzie Trail south of Thomas St.

Work schedule: The work is expected to be completed by mid-April. Unfavorable weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances may impact the work schedule.

How will this work affect you?

Repair work is scheduled to occur between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Community members are advised to avoid the construction area.

For public safety, a portion of the Thomas Street parking lot will be closed to accommodate heavy equipment and associated noise levels may increase during these times.
