Roadway update: Traffic line painting in progress

Where: Various roadways and intersections

Painting often takes place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. during the week however work will be done during the overnight hours as well.

When: From May 4, 2026 to October 15, 2026

Why: To refresh the various intersection line markings such as stop bars, crosswalks, short centerlines and arrows with a durable plastic paint.

Road paint only takes a few minutes to dry. However, that time can change depending on temperature and humidity. To avoid damage to your vehicle and the lines on the road, stay off freshly painted lines, or choose an alternate route.

Please exercise caution when approaching line marking operation and follow all temporary condition and warning signs.

Driving on fresh paint can cause damage to your vehicle and can compromise the quality of the reflective paint.
