Splash pads opening in Oshawa this May

The City of Oshawa is preparing for the warmer weather by planning the opening of a variety of cooling options for the season.

Splash pads

The following splash pads will open on Wednesday, May 13:

• Delpark Homes Centre (accessible splash pad) 
• Lakeview Park (accessible splash pad)

Additional splash pads will open on Wednesday, May 20. The City’s splash pads operate daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. until Labour Day (September 7), with hours extended to dusk during heat alerts. For more information on splash pad locations, visit oshawa.ca/SplashPads.

Camp Samac Outdoor Pool

Camp Samac Outdoor Pool will open for the season on Monday, June 22 until Monday, September 7. The Camp Samac leisure swim schedule will be available at oshawa.ca/Swim.

Lakeview Park Beach

Lakeview Park Beach will be staffed with lifeguards beginning Monday, June 15, between 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., continuing until Monday, September 7, weather permitting.
