Unlock Oshawa’s history and explore hidden gems during Doors Open

The City of Oshawa invites you to discover Oshawa’s rich history during Doors Open.

On Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., community members will have the opportunity to explore the architecture and history of Oshawa by visiting unique buildings and sites across the city. Please note that some site times may vary.

This free event offers residents and visitors an exclusive chance to discover and learn more about these buildings and sites, many of which are not typically open to the public. With over 20 sites to visit, there is something for everyone!

This year we are introducing an exciting lineup of new locations, including:

  • City of Oshawa: Art and Culture in the Hall
  • Market at 70 King
  • The Ontario Regiment: RCAC
  • Oshawa Executive Airport
  • Oshawa Little Theatre
  • St. George’s Memorial Church
  • St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church

And we’re happy to welcome back a variety of popular returning venues:

  • 420 Wing Oshawa
  • Alexandra’s Bounty Community Garden
  • Canadian Automotive Museum
  • Canadian Tank Museum
  • City of Oshawa: Horticulture Greenhouse
