Demolitions

Before submitting a permit application for demolition:

1. Review the demolition information and disconnections package
2. Complete a Notice to Disconnect Services form (located in the package) and have the appropriate agencies sign and date the form
3. Complete and sign the Demolition Permit Information form (located in the package)

If the demolition will change the grading of your property, contact Engineering Services or call 905-436-5606 to see if a site alteration permit is required.

Permit application requirements

• A completed Building Permit application form.
• An Owner's Authorization form will be required if the applicant is not the property owner.
• A copy of the property survey or site plan showing the location of existing buildings. 
• A Roadway Restoration application fee (where applicable).

Call before you dig

It is important you call Ontario One Call at 1-800-400-2255 before you dig to have them locate any underground utilities and avoid any damage during construction.
