  1. Create a new account with your new email address by visiting the Oshawa Application Portal website.
  2. Let us know of the account update by emailing Request Support with the following:
    • Your old email address
    • Your new email address
    • Your name and any other relevant account details
  3. Once Oshawa staff receive your details, they will use CityView to locate any permits or applications associated

Once you’ve created your portal account, then provide your account name and your application / license number to your current staff contact at the City of Oshawa, who will then link your existing application / license to your portal account. This will enable you to see it or check the status once logged in to the application portal.

Once confirmed, all application information and any documents will be saved in the Portal Document Repository. Saved applications will get a temporary reference number until the application is submitted.

Applicants can find any saved applications in “My Items” on Portal. Ensure "Show All" is selected at the top right of your application list. By selecting “Resume this Application”, applicants can add information from where they left off. The options to save the application again or submit it will still be available.
