Enjoy free evening entertainment this summer with Events in the Park

The City of Oshawa is excited to announce its summer Events in the Park entertainment series, presented by TD Bank. Kicking off the summer lineup is a groove-filled performance by The Fabulous Tonemasters on Thursday, July 9 at 7 p.m. in Memorial Park.

Events schedule:

• Thursday, July 9, 16, 23 and 30 at Memorial Park from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, August 4, 11, 18 and 25 at Ed Broadbent Waterfront Park from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 
• Friday, September 11 at Columbus Park beginning at 8 p.m.

The series will feature a variety of music genres, live theatre, and a movie night. Plus, new for this year, treat yourself to delicious eats and drinks from a variety of local food trucks that will be on-site at the events! Bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the performances!

On Friday, September 11, enjoy a movie under the stars at Columbus Park. The movie will begin at dusk, which is expected to be around 8 p.m. Please dress appropriately for the weather and feel free to bring your own snacks and chairs. Stay tuned for the movie selection announcement later this summer!

Additionally, the Memorial Park Bandshell will host the Oshawa Civic Band on Wednesday, June 24, July 15, August 5, and August 26 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
