The City of Oshawa has proclaimed May 31 through June 6 as National AccessAbility Awareness Week (N.A.A.W.) in Oshawa!

Celebrated annually, N.A.A.W. celebrates the contributions of Canadians with disabilities while promoting accessibility and inclusion in communities across Canada.

The week was officially launched with a flag‑raising at City Hall with Members of Council, community members, and representatives from the Oshawa Accessibility Advisory Committee (O.A.A.C.) in attendance.

The City extends a sincere thank you to the O.A.A.C. and its members for their hard work and dedication to raising awareness and making recommendations to improve accessibility in our community.
