Paid parking now in effect at Oshawa’s waterfront
Paid parking is now in effect at Lakeview Park and Ed Broadbent Waterfront Park for the 2026 season.
Waterfront paid parking is in effect annually from May 15 to October 15 on weekends, public holidays (Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day and Thanksgiving Day) and during City led events to help manage demand, improve parking availability and support ongoing waterfront maintenance.
Free parking for Oshawa residents
Oshawa residents can continue to park at no cost by registering their vehicle(s) for a free Waterfront Parking Permit.
Residents who have not yet registered for the free parking permit can still apply online or in-person. Please note that it may take up to three (3) days for permits to be processed, so residents are encouraged to register in advance of visiting the waterfront.
Paid parking for non-residents and unregistered vehicles
Non-residents and vehicles without a valid Waterfront Parking Permit are required to pay a flat rate of $20 per day on weekends, public holidays and during City events.
Parking payment options include:
- Parking meters available on-site
- HonkMobile; download the app through Apple or Google Play stores
