Road Closure: Canada Day Celebration

The City of Oshawa will be hosting the annual Canada Day Celebration at Lakeview Park with the following road and lane restrictions.

Date: Wednesday, July 1, 2026

Time: 7 a.m. – 12 a.m.

Details:

Simcoe St. S., south from Harbour Rd.

Valley Dr., from Ritson Rd. S. to Simcoe St. S.

Lakeview Park Ave., from Ritson Rd. S. to Simcoe St. S.

Farewell St. from Harbour Rd. to Wentworth St., northbound traffic only.

Marwood Dr. as “Local Traffic Only”.

Traffic will be directed one-way, eastbound on Lakeview Park Ave., flowing north on Simcoe St. from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. At 8 p.m., traffic will be directed one-way, westbound along Lakeview Park Ave. from Simcoe St. S. to Ritson Rd. S.

Harbour Rd. between Simcoe St. S. and Farewell St. will be one-way, eastbound for the duration of the closure.
