Service Disruptions and Closures

The work involves the reconstruction of Thornton Road North to a two-lane road with bike lakes, a multi-use path on the east side, and installation of new storm sewers and Regional services such as sanitary sewers water main systems.

The sauna at Delpark Homes Centre will be closed on Tuesday, April 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for scheduled maintenance.

The playground and sunshade at Nipigon Park are closed for repairs until further notice.

A portion of Joseph Kolodzie Oshawa Creek trail will be closed for repairs until mid April to restore the creek bank adjacent to the Joseph Kolodzie Trail south of Thomas St.

The east sidewalk of Simcoe St. S. between Maple St. and Olive Ave. is closed starting March 5, due to safety concerns.

Pedestrian bridge over Oshawa Creek temporarily closed. 

Reconstruction and widening of Conlin Road East from east of Harmony Road North to Kurelo Drive as well as the construction of a new roundabout at Grandview Street North and Conlin Road East.

Temporary Pier closure for winter maintenance and railing removal.
