Have your say! Nipigon Park redevelopment
The City of Oshawa is revitalizing Nipigon Park at 540 Nipigon Street and is seeking community input to help shape its design. Share your thoughts on preferred playground equipment, accessibility features and other improvements that will enhance the park for all users.
The new design will focus on providing engaging and creative play opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities. Proposed improvements may include accessible pathways, new play equipment, seating, a shade structure, native plants, and revitalized ball diamonds.
Construction is currently proposed for 2027, subject to approval through the Mayor’s Budget process.
Community members are invited to provide their feedback by completing a feedback form online on Connect Oshawa (connectoshawa.ca/NipigonPark) or, on paper, at Service Oshawa (50 Centre St. S.).
Feedback will be received until noon on June 8, 2026 and will be considered in the selection of playground equipment and accessibility components of the site.
