The City of Oshawa is hiring for a Regular Full-Time Class B Facility Operator (Facility Attendant 2)

Community members and airport users are advised that on the morning of Tuesday, October 27, the Oshawa Executive Airport will be conducting a simulated emergency exercise in accordance with Canadian Aviation Regulations.

The holiday season begins with the return of Oshawa’s Bright and Merry Market on Friday, November 20.

The City of Oshawa is continuing to grow its urban forest with $560,860 in funding from the Government of Canada through the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ (FCM) Growing Canada’s Community Canopies (GCCC) initiative for two tree-planting projects across the city.

Applications have been submitted to amend Zoning By-law 60-94 and to amend an approved Draft Plan of Subdivision submitted by D.G. Biddle and Associates Limited on behalf of Greycrest Homes (Oshawa) Inc. for lands at Conlin Rd. E. and Riverton St. The applications have been determined to be complete. The Oshawa Economic and Development Services Committee will be considering the applications at a future Planning Act public meeting.
