Service Disruptions and Closures

New bike route lanes will be installed on Mary St. N., Ormond Dr., and Glovers Rd. 

Road Closures Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 to support the 22nd annual Peony Festival at the Oshawa Valley Botanical Gardens.

The tennis courts at Conlin Woods Park will be closed for renovations on Monday, June 1 from 9 a.m. until Tuesday, June 2 at 2 p.m.

From May 4 to October 15, 2026, traffic line painting will occur on various roadways and intersections, primarily on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The City of Oshawa will be replacing existing pathway surfaces as well as completing minor repairs and improvements throughout Lakeview Park. This project is anticipated to be completed this fall. The work will be done in a phased approach to limit user impact.

The pedestrian stairs on the west side of Ritson Rd. S leading to Graburn Ave. are closed until further notice 

Renaissance Park playground is closed effective immediately due to ponding water and will remain closed until further notice.

The work involves the reconstruction of Thornton Road North to a two-lane road with bike lakes, a multi-use path on the east side, and installation of new storm sewers and Regional services such as sanitary sewers water main systems.

The playground and sunshade at Nipigon Park are closed for repairs until further notice.
