Oshawa's Community Grants Program

Council is committed to assisting Oshawa-based not-for-profit community groups and organizations that initiate or deliver programs and services to the residents of Oshawa.

The Oshawa Community Grants Program was approved by Council in October 2021.

The application deadline for submissions in 2025 was December 31. Thank you for your interest in this funding program. Please continue to check for updates on the grant application process in fall 2026.

Oshawa's Arts, Culture and Heritage Award Program

The City of Oshawa offers two award programs to celebrate the individuals, collectives and organizations that contribute to making Oshawa a great place to live, work and play. Annually we present the Community Legends Award and three awards under the banner of the Oshawa Culture Counts Awards program.
