Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony

The Royal Canadian Legion – Branches 43 and 637 will hold a Remembrance Day parade and ceremony on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, beginning at 10:25 a.m.

Rogers Durham will live broadcast Oshawa's Remembrance Day ceremony and replay it later in the day.

Rolling Closures and Road Closures:

Rolling closures and road closures will affect traffic in downtown Oshawa from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• 10:25 a.m.: The parade will leave the Ontario Regiment Armouries at Richmond St. and Simcoe. St. N. continuing along Richmond St. to Centre St. S., then proceeding south on Centre St. S. to John St., then proceeding east on John St. to Simcoe St. S., pausing between John St. and Metcalfe St. for the ceremony.
• 11:30 a.m., the parade will travel north on Simcoe St. S. to Richmond St., returning to The Ontario Regiment Armouries.

Road Closures:

• Simcoe St. S. between John St. and Metcalfe St. 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• John St. between Centre St. S. and Simcoe St. S. 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
• Centre St. S. may be closed from 10:25 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., depending on the number of military vehicles in the parade
• Metcalfe St. will be closed from Centre St. S. to Simcoe St. S. from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Richmond St. will be closed from Ontario St. to Simcoe St. N. from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Rolling Closures:

• Richmond St. from Ontario St. to Centre St. S.
• Centre St. S. from Richmond St. to King St. W.
• Simcoe St. S. from John St. to Richmond St. after the ceremony
