Museums

The Oshawa Museum is in scenic Lakeview Park at 1450 Simcoe St. S. It provides an opportunity to explore and experience Oshawa's rich heritage.

The Oshawa Museum contains a variety of exhibits and experiences, including:

  • Three restored 19th century homes (Henry House, Robinson House and Guy House)
  • Artifacts from the Henry, Robinson and Guy families
  • Several heritage gardens
  • A reference library featuring local history books
  • Photograph collections illustrating Oshawa's historic people, places and events

The Museum offers tours and has both temporary and permanent exhibits. In addition, special events, educational programs and community events run throughout the year.
