About Asian and South Asian Heritage Month
Asian and South Asian Heritage Month is a time to celebrate the rich histories, diverse cultures, and countless contributions of people of Asian and South Asian descent. Observed in May, it honors the resilience, achievements, and ongoing struggles of these communities. It's also an opportunity to confront anti-Asian racism, challenge stereotypes, and amplify voices that are too often marginalized. By recognizing this month, we create space for deeper understanding, solidarity, and action toward more inclusive and equitable communities.
