During a heat alert, Recreation programs and facilities may be impacted including the Civic Dome and Playground Programs. Check the status at Service Disruptions.
Protect yourself and your family
Plan ahead on ways to stay cool and keep in touch with others who may not be able to stay cool, especially during a heat event.
Take protective actions. The Durham Region Health Department has implemented the Durham Region Heat Warning and Information System, which provides information and resources on protecting yourself and your family during heat events. Learn more at durham.ca/heat.
