The City is investing $2.3 million to renovate the Civic Recreation Complex's outdoor track and jumping runways. During the track replacement, the outdoor track and runways will be closed. In summer 2024, a third-party inspection determined that the surface of the track is nearing the end of its lifespan and no longer meets competition standard.  For project updates, visit Oshawa.ca/CivicOutdoorTrack. Thank you for your understanding.

The Civic Recreation Complex has two artificial turf sport fields, three natural turf sport fields and a track and field facility suitable for regional and provincial meets.

The stadium on field one includes:

  • Seating for up to 2,000 spectators
  • Press box
  • Scoreboard
  • Change rooms
  • Concession services

Staff follow the Council-approved Sport Field and Outdoor Court Allocation Policy to allocate time at the Civic Fields and in the Civic Fieldhouse.
