Farewell Creek Design-Build Project

The design-build team of Cambridge Landscaping & Construction and Water's Edge Environmental Solutions has been hired by the City to complete the realignment of Farewell Creek in the area approximately 450 m east of Grandview St. S.

The creek's realignment builds on alternative solutions presented in the 2016 Palmer Environmental Consulting Group Inc. - Fluvial Geomorphological Assessment of Farewell Creek to support the Evaluation of Erosion Mitigation Strategies at Augusta Crt.

Construction has commenced in March 2022 with tree removals to enable works for the creek realignment and is expected to be complete by mid-September 2022.

Virtual Public Consultation

The virtual Public Consultation has closed for the proposed realignment of Farewell Creek in the area adjacent to Augusta Crt. to mitigate erosion onto private lands.
