Join us for Events in the Park, a free family friendly series of events held across various parks within Oshawa. July through September, community members enjoy live outdoor entertainment, including various music genres, interactive theatre, dance and a movie night.

The Fabulous Tonemasters are Gerry Archer (guitar/vocals), JP Hovercraft (bass/vocals), Brent Bailey (keys/vocals), and the band's heartbeat, John "JR" Robertson (drums).

After 15+ years of evolution, this lineup has hit its stride, serving up a tasty mix of funk, blues, and R&B that's impossible to resist. Fueled by Gerry’s obsession with killer guitar tones, The Fabulous Tonemasters deliver grooves, soul, and plenty of six-string magic.

Oshawa Civic Band

The Oshawa Civic Band has been presenting outdoor concerts at the McLaughlin Bandshell since 1942, making it a cherished summer tradition for generations of Oshawa residents. Bring family and friends to enjoy an entertaining mix of favourites, classics, marches, and popular music under the summer sky!
