Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony

Wednesday, November 11
Parade: 10:25 a.m.
Ceremony: 10:45 a.m.
Memorial Park, 110 Simcoe St. S.

The ceremony will include the laying of the wreaths, remembrance service and closing remarks. At the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, two minutes of silence will be observed to honour all who have fallen and acknowledge those who have served for our freedom.

To further honour those who have served, the City invites residents to observe Indigenous Veterans Day on Sunday, November 8, recognizing the contributions and sacrifices of First Nations, Inuit and Métis veterans.

The local Legion branches request that the airspace over Memorial Park be respected as a no-drone zone during the ceremony.

This year marks an important milestone, as the Royal Canadian Legion celebrates its 100^th anniversary throughout Canada, and Branch 43 in Oshawa observes 100 years of service to our Veterans and our community.

All event updates, including severe weather updates, will be posted on this webpage.
