The City of Oshawa is hosting a series of virtual workshops with community members and airport users to obtain input on the Draft Proposed Noise Abatement Procedures for the Oshawa Executive Airport. The draft procedures were developed in consultation with H.M. Aero Aviation Consulting, a professional team of individuals with significant airport-related experience including familiarity with the creation of noise abatement procedures.

The City of Oshawa advises that the Highway of Heroes Tree Campaign, in partnership with Trees for Life, the Ontario Regiment Museum and the City, will be planting hundreds of trees at the Oshawa Executive Airport South Field, located at 1000 Stevenson Road North in Oshawa.

Look to the skies for this unique Oshawa based aircraft!

We have received multiple inquires over the past few weeks of a large white and blue aircraft flying over Oshawa. The aircraft in question is a BT-67 Basslier aircraft (Turbine DC-3) operated by Enterprise Airlines out of the Oshawa Executive Airport. Enterprise has been operating these type of aircrafts for almost 20 years now here in Oshawa. They currently operate 3 of these aircraft and are adding a fourth aircraft to their fleet in a few weeks.

Airport Air Quality and Noise Monitoring coming this summer in the vicinity of the Oshawa Executive Airport

This summer, the Oshawa Executive Airport will undertake phase two of an air quality assessment and noise study for monitoring in the residential areas surrounding the Airport. The study will be run by RWDI Consulting Engineers and Scientists.
