Residents are invited to take part in the Region’s curbside giveaway day on May 4

Building on the success of last year’s event, the Curbside Giveaway Day is back. Curbside Giveaway Day is an event organized in co-operation with the local area municipalities, where residents can place unwanted items in good condition—clearly marked as free—on their curb for anyone to pick up. At the end of the Giveaway Day, residents return unclaimed items to their home.
When: Saturday, May 4 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

National Youth Week and National Youth Arts Week is back! Oshawa youth ages 10 to 17 are invited to participate in an exciting range of free workshops, activities and drop-in programs happening throughout Oshawa during the first week of May.
The Oshawa Youth Council played a key role in planning and implementing the week of free events. In collaboration with BGC Durham, events include sport activities, swims, a paint night, a youth symposium and more!

Planning for land uses and transportation around the future Central Oshawa GO Station is moving forward to Stage 3!
