The City of Oshawa reminds the community of snow and ice removal responsibilities and seasonal parking reminders, and invites community members to share their feedback on winter maintenance operations on Connect Oshawa.
On-street parking
On-street parking is not permitted on Oshawa streets from December 1 to April 1 between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Vehicles may be ticketed and/or towed during that time, regardless of snow clearing operations and weather conditions.

2024 Oshawa City Budget adopted

The 2024 City of Oshawa budget has been adopted. The 2024 budget is aligned with Council’s guiding principle of financial stewardship and the City’s Financial Strategy.

Supporting small and family-owned businesses in downtown Oshawa is easy to do this holiday season!
The City of Oshawa is offering free on-street parking in the downtown starting at noon daily from Monday, December 11 up to and including Monday, January 1. Parking will be free all day on December 25, 26 and January 1 due to statutory holidays.
