Call for exhibition proposals from cultural organizations: Art & Culture in the Hall

The City of Oshawa is excited to invite Oshawa-based organizations, collectives and post-secondary programs in the creative and cultural industries, or Indigenous organizations, to submit proposals for temporary exhibitions to be displayed at Art & Culture in the Hall located outside Council Chambers at City Hall. Celebrate Culture Days with free activities in Oshawa

The City of Oshawa invites community members to come together and celebrate Culture Days 2025, a national event fostering connection with arts and culture. This year’s activities also honour National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a time to reflect, learn and come together through culture and community.

The City of Oshawa, in partnership with Friends of the Second Marsh, invites community members, local organizations, and businesses to take part in our final Mayor's Cleanup event for the year. The event will take place on Saturday, September 6, starting at 9 a.m. at the Oshawa Second Marsh and McLaughlin Bay Wildlife Reserve.

Metrolinx Notice: GO Expansion Early Works at Oshawa Station

As part of the GO Expansion project, Oshawa GO Station is scheduled for a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade. Prior to construction at the station, early works activities are required to help make upcoming construction safer and more efficient. This work will support future track and infrastructure updates. For safety reasons, some work may take place overnight when revenue trains are not in service.
