21 years in bloom: Oshawa Peony Festival continues to grow

The City of Oshawa is excited to present the 21st annual Peony Festival on Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8 at the Oshawa Valley Botanical Gardens (155 Arena St.). Named one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals and Events for the 12th year running, the festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features one of Canada’s largest contemporary peony collections, along with hundreds of cut blooms displayed inside the arena during the Canadian Peony Society judged show.

The City of Oshawa has proclaimed May 25 through May 31 as National AccessAbility Awareness Week (N.A.A.W.) in Oshawa.
Celebrated annually, N.A.A.W.:
- celebrates the valuable contributions and leadership of Canadians with disabilities;
- highlights the work of people, organizations and communities that are removing barriers; and,
- reflects on the ongoing efforts to become a better, more accessible and more inclusive Canada.
