The City of Oshawa is pleased to share construction updates on three exciting new outdoor destinations.
Rose Valley Community Park – A Multi-Use Destination opening this summer
Located at 1095 Thornton Rd. North, Rose Valley Community Park is quickly taking shape as a vibrant recreation destination.
Key amenities are already complete, including: pickleball courts, the B.M.X. park, new playground area with rubber safety surfacing, shade structures, and a washroom building.

Wild Parsnip and Cow Parsnip are now flowering in Oshawa. The plants look like colourful wildflowers often found along the edges of parks, open spaces, trails and roadsides until the autumn. However, these toxic weeds are a growing concern across Ontario and can pose a health risk to people and pets.
