South Oshawa Community Centre Pool Reconstruction Project

The City of Oshawa continues to extend its sincere thanks to residents and facility users for their continued patience and understanding as work progresses on the South Oshawa Community Centre Pool reconstruction project.

Project Status:

Exterior excavation work continues, which supports the necessary upgrades to the foundation drainage system. Temporary sidewalk closures remain in effect to protect public safety while this work is carried out.

McMillan Parking Garage Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation of Parking Garage 2 (110 King St W.) will begin on Monday, July 28 with work anticipated to be completed by December 2025.

Please be advised that a number of parking spaces throughout the garage will be unavailable for use while rehabilitation work is underway. The entire second floor will be unavailable for parking during the asphalt resurfacing; however, drive isles and ramps will be available for access to the parking levels above.

Lakeview Park west gazebo closed until further notice

Where: The gazebo located in Lakeview Park is the second one from the western boundary of the park and the first one east of the Mandela Gazebo. This closure does not affect any roads.

When: Until further notice.

Why: The gazebo will be closed until a structural inspection is completed.
