The City of Oshawa is proud to announce its success at the Festivals & Events Ontario (FEO) Awards 2025, with five of its premier festivals recognized among the Top 100 Festivals in Ontario. This prestigious designation highlights excellence and visibility in the festival and event industry.

Centennial community-based art project installed at Delpark Homes Centre

The City of Oshawa is excited to announce the installation of the centennial community-based art project, “How Many Hearts?” at the Delpark Homes Centre located at 1661 Harmony Road North.
The “How Many Hearts?” project, created in collaboration with the LivingRoom Community Art Studio and community members, was created with mulberry paper and permanent marker. Peony Festival recognized as finalist for Tourism Event of the Year

Oshawa’s Peony Festival was selected as a finalist for the 2024 Ontario Tourism Awards of Excellence in the Tourism Event of the Year category.
This recognition, a first for Oshawa, highlights the Festival’s outstanding contributions to Ontario’s tourism industry. In honour of Volunteer Recognition Month, the City of Oshawa would like to extend its congratulations to one of its long-standing volunteers, Judi Denny.
