City of Oshawa deploys new green vehicle fleet

The City of Oshawa is pleased to announce it has introduced its first seven fully electric vehicles to its fleet. These vehicles are 100 percent battery powered.
The seven new 2023 Chevrolet Bolt vehicles have been deployed in the community; four will be used by the City’s municipal licensing enforcement officers and three will be used by the City’s building inspectors.

The City of Oshawa acknowledges June as Indigenous History Month, and has proclaimed June 21, 2023 as Indigenous Peoples Day.

Celebrate Canada Day at Lakeview Park

The City of Oshawa is inviting the community to Canada’s 156th birthday party at Lakeview Park for a day of fun with friends and family on Saturday, July 1.

PulsePoint partners train 80+ at free CPR event

Yesterday, 87 community members learned potentially life-saving skills at CPR clinics presented by the Oshawa PulsePoint partners. Participants gained hands-on CPR experience and learned how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator) from certified instructors.
