Greenbriar Park reopens with new amenities, and fun new space for the kids!
The City of Oshawa is excited to announce the revitalization and reopening of Greenbriar Park. Local community members came together to celebrate the reopening with playground programming for the local children.
Greenbriar Park is a neighbourhood park located close to the ravine off of Greenbriar Drive in Ward 3.
Key improvements to Greenbriar Park include:
- accessible pathways with guardrails, handrails, and rest areas; A.O.D.A. compliant playground surfacing, swings, and access ramps
- new Junior and Senior playground equipment: ages 2-12 years
- new playground safety surfacing with concrete edging
- site furnishings including benches and waste receptacles
- native plantings to enhance the natural ravine ecosystem
