The City of Oshawa proudly announces that the 17th annual Peony Festival will be presented online at Oshawa.ca/Peony from June 1 to 27. Recognized by Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals and Events for nine consecutive years, the virtual festival will feature videos of peony gardens, expert advice, gardening tips and online activities for all ages.

National Youth Week and National Youth Arts Week is back! Oshawa youth ages 10 to 17 are invited to get involved in an exciting range of free virtual activities happening throughout Oshawa from May 1 to 7.
The Oshawa Youth Council played a key role in the planning and implementation of the week of free virtual activities. Activities include a virtual paint night, online trivia and more!

Three of Oshawa’s virtual special events held in 2020 were recently awarded Festival and Events Ontario (FEO) achievement awards. The FEO award program was redefined to acknowledge events which were able to “Adapt, Pivot and Evolve” in 2020.
