A Planning Act public meeting will be held regarding applications to amend the Oshawa Official Plan (File: OPA-2023-01) and Zoning By-law 60-94 (File: Z-2023-03) submitted by GHD on behalf of 2702758 Ontario Ltd. for lands at 88 King Street West.The Oshawa Economic and Development Services Committee will be considering the above referenced applications for the lands as shown shaded on the map at the public meeting.

The City of Oshawa's Recreation Services will be offering additional Yoga classes this summer! Starting May 11, we will be hosting Yoga classes on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 6:55 p.m. at the South Oshawa Community Centre.

Durham Region Health Department has started West Nile virus surveillance and control activities for the season.

West Nile virus is a mosquito-borne disease that is spread to humans through the bite of an infected mosquito. Mosquitoes become infected by feeding on the blood of birds that carry the virus.
