The Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O.1990, c. O.18 as amended, provides that an owner of property designated under the Ontario Heritage Act may apply to a Municipal Council to repeal the by-law or part thereof designating the property.
Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the City of Oshawa received a request at the initiation of the owner to repeal, in part, By-law 148-2011 which designates the following property under Part IV, Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act:

Take notice that the Council of The Corporation of the City of Oshawa passed By-Law 27-2024 on the 26th day of February, 2024, under Section 29, Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter O.18.

The City of Oshawa has retained BTE Engineering to complete the detailed design of Conlin Rd. E. from Walreg Dr. to Edenwood Dr. The design plans for a full road reconstruction and widening the road to four lanes. Shopping Cart Retrieval
In accordance with By-law 181-2022, shopping carts found on City property and removed by the City are subject to a retrieval and storage fee of $50 per cart.
- Cart owners must complete the “Shopping Cart Retrieval Request Form” Oshawa.ca/ShoppingCarts online or by contacting Service Oshawa to start the retrieval process.
- Unless otherwise advised, fee payment is required at least two weeks before cart disposition dates.
- Carts not claimed will be disposed of the week following
