Civic Dome closed on select days this October

The Civic Dome at the Civic Recreation Complex, will be closed to the public from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Lake Ontario Secondary School Athletics (LOSSA) Tennis on following days:
- October 8, 2024
- October 10, 2024
- October 16, 2024
- October 22, 2024
- October 24, 2024
- October 30, 2024
Recreation Facility Holiday Hours – Thanksgiving Day

Holiday Hours: Thanksgiving Day
City recreation facilities will operate on modified hours of operation on Monday, October 14 as noted below:
- Delpark Homes Centre: open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Donevan Recreation Complex: open from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. for arena rentals only
- Harman Park Arena: open from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
- All other recreation facilities are closed and activeOshawa registered programs are cancelled

Delpark Library Branch temporary closure

When: Beginning Wednesday, September 23 until Friday, November 1
Where: Oshawa Public Library Delpark Homes Branch (1661 Harmony Rd N,), including the book return.
Please note the recreation facility and OSCC55+ Branch will remain open.
Why: To complete a flooring project.
Library Returns: During this time, library items can be returned to any of our other locations:
- John Aker Northview Branch (250 Beatrice Street E.)
- Jess Hann Branch (199 Wentworth Street W.)
- McLaughlin Branch (65 Bagot Street)
South Oshawa Community Centre pool closed until further notice

The South Oshawa Community Centre (SOCC) pool (1455 Cedar St.) is closed until further notice due to ongoing maintenance requirements. All other recreation programs and services (non-aquatic) will proceed as scheduled.
As a result of this closure:
- Leisure swims scheduled at the SOCC Pool have been cancelled until further notice. Find location alternatives by visiting Oshawa.ca/Swim.
- Swimming lesson and aquatic course participants scheduled at the SOCC Pool will be contacted regarding program changes...
Elevator Service Disruption at Parking Garage 2

The two elevators at Parking Garage 2 (117 Bond St. W.) in downtown Oshawa are currently out of service due to repairs.
The City apologizes for any inconvenience and is working closely with contractors to make the repairs as quickly as possible.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking spaces are available in the downtown in other City parking garages, surface lots and on-street.
