City of Oshawa splash pads will close for the season on Monday, September 18, 2023. Thank you for visiting us this year; we look forward to seeing you at a local splash pad again in Summer 2024.

Temporary internet and phone outage at Civic Recreation Complex

Update: Internet and phone services have been restored at the Civic Recreation Complex. Please note that the pool remains closed for scheduled maintenance.
Community members are advised that the Civic Recreation Complex is experiencing an internet and phone outage. We are working to get this resolved quickly. In the meantime: 

  • Registrations cannot be completed
  • access to to the fitness facility payment options are limited to cash only
The pool is currently closed due to scheduled maintenance.

Temporary fitness centre closures in September, 2023

Fitness centres at the Civic Recreation Complex and South Oshawa Community Centre along with the fitness centre and indoor walking track at the Delpark Homes Centre, will experience temporary closures in September as they undergo scheduled maintenance. 

Please note the following closure dates:

  • Civic Recreation Complex fitness centre: Closed September 14 and 15, 2023. Scheduled to reopen September 16.
  • Delpark Homes Centre fitness centre and indoor walking track: Closed September 9 and 10, 2023. Scheduled...

Temporary pool closures in September, 2023

City pools at the Civic Recreation Complex, Delpark Homes Centre, and South Oshawa Community Centre will experience staggered closures throughout September for essential maintenance work. Please note the following pool closure dates:

  • Civic Recreation Complex, Centennial Pool: Closed from September 5 to 15, 2023. Scheduled to reopen September 16.
  • Delpark Homes Centre Pool: Closed from September 18 to 29. Scheduled to reopen September 30.
  • South Oshawa Community Centre Pool: Closed from September 2...
