Update: South Oshawa Community Centre

The elevator and pool at the South Oshawa Community Centre are temporarily closed due to mechanical issues. As a result of the pool closure, all leisure swims scheduled at the South Oshawa Community Centre are cancelled until further notice.

Bridge Closure: Baker Park Bridge is closed due to safety reasons.
Where: Baker Park Bridge closed between Regent Dr. and Parklane Ave. This does not affect any roads.
When: Until further notice.
Why: Due to safety reasons.

Temporary bridge closure: Erie Park Pedestrian Bridge

Where: Erie Park Pedestrian Bridge (near Joseph Kolodzie Oshawa Creek Trail)
When: April 24, 2024
Why: To complete work on the bridge deck.
The bridge will be closed to the public while the work is being done. The date is weather pending. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Temporary Closure: City Hall East Courtyard Entrance

Where: City Hall – Civic Square, 50 Centre St. S.
The construction will take place in Civic Square (Courtyard) and include closing the east Courtyard City Hall entrance. Please refer to the map below indicating the construction zone and associated closures.
All visitors are to enter City Hall through the accessible Main Entrance at the South Side of the building (Queen Street).
When: April 16 until June 28. Timelines may be adjusted depending on weather or unforeseen material delays.

Flooding on Harmony Trail

Trail Closure: Harmony Trail is closed due to flooding
Where: Harmony Trail underpass closed from King St to Bond St. This closure does not affect any roads.

Why: Due to flooding.
