The City of Oshawa is preparing the 2021 City budget and wants to hear from you!
Ward 4 residents and property owners can share their priorities on key program and service areas on Tuesday, September 29:
- Online by visiting https://oshawa.webex.com on a desktop or laptop computer, entering the Ward-specific access code and then the event password.
- On the WebEx Meetings app on a mobile device, selecting Join Meeting and entering the Ward-specific access code. Users may be asked to enter the event password.

The City of Oshawa continues to support the Oshawa Generals in its 2021 Memorial Cup bid. Oshawa City Council has approved $200,000 for in-kind services, a $50,000 cash contribution and $110,000 in Tribute Communities Centre capital upgrades should the Oshawa Generals secure the 2021 Memorial Cup tournament.

The City of Oshawa and Trent University have created a dedicated endowment fund to provide support to Oshawa students attending the University’s Durham GTA campus.
Beginning in the 2021-2022 academic year, the City of Oshawa Student Bursaries Endowment Fund will support students who reside in Oshawa, are enrolled at Trent University Durham GTA and have demonstrated socio-economic need.

Finding and planting the right tree in your backyard has never been easier for Oshawa property owners, thanks to a partnership between a local not-for-profit organization, The Regional Municipality of Durham and City of Oshawa.
Residential, multi-unit, or commercial property owners in Oshawa and other participating municipalities in Durham Region can apply to the subsidized Backyard Tree Planting Program offered by Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests (LEAF).

In response to the City of Oshawa entering Stage 2 of the Ontario Government’s gradual reopening of communities, Lakeview Park Beach will reopen to the public with limited access as of Friday, July 3.
Lakeview Park Beach will be staffed with lifeguards daily between 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. (weather permitting) and hours may be extended to dusk during an extreme heat alert.
