With winter weather just around the corner, the City of Oshawa would like to encourage everyone to be a good neighbour this winter season as snow and ice removal responsibilities take effect.
On-street parking
Parking that interferes with snow clearing operations is prohibited. Any vehicle parked in a manner which hinders efficient snow clearing operations may be ticketed or towed, regardless of the time of year.

The community is reminded that changes to on street parking for the winter season will be in effect beginning on Wednesday, December 1 through to April 1.
Community members are reminded that:
- On street parking is not permitted on Oshawa streets between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., from December 1 to April 1. Vehicles may be ticketed and/or towed during that time, regardless of snow clearing operations and weather conditions.

Pay your parking ticket in toy donations this holiday season

Toys for Tickets, a popular City of Oshawa program returns this holiday season. The program offers motorists who receive a parking ticket under $100 between Thursday, November 17 and Thursday, December 1, 2022 (inclusive) the opportunity to make a contribution to the annual toy drive in lieu of payment.

The City of Oshawa is undertaking construction at Gold Point Wildlife Reserve including accessible pathways, interpretive nodes, a formal butterfly garden and restoration plantings.
Where: 1221 Phillip Murray Avenue.
When: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, October 2022 to summer of 2023.
