TeachingCity Oshawa is proud to announce the launch of new interactive experience to encourage the community to get out, explore and learn!
Now people walking along the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail in Oshawa can use their smartphone cameras to scan Quick Response (QR) codes placed on signage, to learn about the various parks, points of interest and amenities on the Trail, while also using a navigation guide to link you to other points of interest along the way.

In support of the Fire Master Plan and ensuring community safety is our top priority, Oshawa City Council approved investments in Oshawa Fire Services at the May 25 regular City Council meeting.

City to provide financial support for Oshawa Generals Memorial Cup bid

The City of Oshawa continues to support the Oshawa Generals in its 2021 Memorial Cup bid. Oshawa City Council has approved $200,000 for in-kind services, a $50,000 cash contribution and $110,000 in Tribute Communities Centre capital upgrades should the Oshawa Generals secure the 2021 Memorial Cup tournament.

The Hamilton Oshawa Port Authority (HOPA Ports) is initiating a Land Use Plan for the Port of Oshawa. HOPA Ports invites community members to complete an online survey and email [email protected] to be added to a mailing list for updates.
