Centennial community-based art project installed at Delpark Homes Centre

The City of Oshawa is excited to announce the installation of the centennial community-based art project, “How Many Hearts?” at the Delpark Homes Centre located at 1661 Harmony Road North.
The “How Many Hearts?” project, created in collaboration with the LivingRoom Community Art Studio and community members, was created with mulberry paper and permanent marker. Rose Valley Community Park Construction Milestones

Construction is progressing on Rose Valley Community Park, located at 1095 Thornton Rd. North, north of Rossland Road and south of Taunton Road.
The new pickle ball courts and the installation of two playground areas are now complete. Construction progresses on Rotary Park – Oshawa’s centennial Legacy Project

The Rotary Park and Pool Redevelopment project is reaching construction milestones.
Construction began in Spring 2024 and it continues to move forward and advance with the recent installation of the footings for the building foundation. Other completed work includes underground servicing such as watermain, storm and sanitary sewers.
The project schedule continues to target opening for Summer 2025.

South Oshawa Community Centre pool closed until further notice

The South Oshawa Community Centre (SOCC) pool (1455 Cedar St.) is closed for an extended time to assess and evaluate required repairs for the safe operation of the pool.
As a result, of the pool closure, the City will not offer aquatic programs at SOCC until repairs are complete. Additional swimming lessons will be available at the Civic Recreation Complex, Delpark Homes Centre, and Donevan Recreation Complex.
