Ed Broadbent Waterfront Park sign unveiled at ground-breaking ceremony

Today, the City of Oshawa officially unveiled the Ed Broadbent Waterfront Park sign and began construction with a ceremonial ground-breaking.
The City of Oshawa’s newest addition to the waterfront parks system is located at the southeast corner of Simcoe Street South and Harbour Road and named in recognition of political icon and Oshawa native Ed Broadbent.

Where: Between Olive Ave. and Albany St. over CP Rail track.
Road closure and detour signs will be posted in accordance with provincial standards.
Full Road Closure - No through access will be available for emergency vehicles. No through access for local traffic.
When: From February 11, 2022 until further notice.
Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
