Get ready for summer program registration!

The City of Oshawa offers many summer recreation programs, including camps, swimming, arts, fitness, and more.

Registration Dates:

• Swimming lessons: Opens at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13
• General programs: Opens at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 15

Summer Camps for ages 4 to 16 are still available. Visit Register.Oshawa.ca to browse and register.

Due to high demand, users may experience delays during registration. To help, the City has increased system capacity and added a website queue to manage traffic on registration days.

Be Prepared:

• Registration is available online or in person (no phone registrations). Service Oshawa is available to assist with questions about the registration process.
• Visit oshawa.ca/activeOshawa for the Recreation Guide and registration help.
• Buy your fitness membership and add-ons in advance to enjoy benefits during registration.

Online registration

Community members are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the program selection and activeOshawa account setup processes, including setting up a family group. For registration assistance, visit our activeOshawa Online Help for tips and resources.

• Create or activate your activeOshawa account If you do not have an activeOshawa account
• If you have forgotten your password, request a password reset
• If you plan to register your child(ren) or family members for programs, log in to your account and update or add your family group under “My Groups”
• If you are unsure of your child’s swim level, visit a recreation facility during public swim hours for a swim assessment or contact Service Oshawa at 905-436-3311
• If you need to update your email address, email active[email protected]

During busy registration times, your invoice may take a few hours to be issued. In the meantime, successful registrations will appear in My Courses under the Pending Courses filter, and a credit will show on your account. The credit will be applied once your invoice is created, and your registration will move to the Current and Future Courses filter.

Accepted online payments: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Visa Debit (debit MasterCard and AmEx not accepted).

Bring a completed registration form for faster service. In-person payments: cash, debit, AmEx, MasterCard, Visa, and cheque (payable to the City of Oshawa).

Reception services may be slower on registration days.
